Role purpose:As People Onboarding Support, you will be the main point of contact and provide critical support to candidates, hiring managers, and internal HR and business stakeholders to provide a great onboarding experience for newly hired colleagues. You will be responsible for ensuring timely execution and completion of a seamless workflow for each new Colleague.Security Clearance or the willingness to apply will be required for this role.Key responsibilities:
- Initial onboarding – sending out contractual documents via our onboarding platform, and ensuring document completion with our set SLA’s, working with new colleagues to assist with any queries along the way.
- Documentation management – ensuring all necessary paperwork, such as employment contracts, policies and other forms are completed and filed correctly.
- Coordination with departments – liaising with various departments to ensure new hires have the necessary equipment, access, and information to start their roles.
- Training and welcome event / induction – assisting in the scheduling and coordination of training sessions for new colleagues. Supporting with the coordination and facilitating of welcome events to help new colleagues integrate into the team and company culture.
- Colleague support – providing ongoing support to new hires during their initial period, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Feedback collection – gathering feedback from new colleague about the onboarding process to identify areas
- Compliance monitoring – ensuring that onboarding processes comply with legal and company-specific regulations, e.g., right to work checks and policies, employment references.
- Technology setup – coordinating with IT to ensure new hires have access to necessary software, systems, and tools.
- Ad hoc support, when needed, for the wider People Experience Team.
Skills and experience:
- Strong communication skills – excellent verbal and written communication abilities to effectively interact with new hires and internal teams.
- Attention to detail – high level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing documentation and onboarding processes.
- Organisational skills – ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Interpersonal skills – friendly and approachable demeanour to make new employees feel welcome and supported.
- Problem-solving abilities – proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues that may arise during the onboarding process.
- Technological proficiency – familiarity with HR software and tools, as well as basic IT skills to assist with technology setup for new hires.
- Security Clearance or the willingness to apply will be required for this role.
