Job Profile:Vista’s People Communications Manager will lead both internal communications and employer brand initiatives, globally.At a strategic level, the role will support the business in delivering goals and objectives through informing, inspiring and engaging Vista colleagues and potential candidates. You will also be hands-on, creating plans, structures and utilising various tools to maximize the reach of information and the effectiveness of campaigns.Reporting to the Talent Director, the new People Communications team will be a part of the Talent Team, comprised of Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, and People Communications. The People Communications Manager will manage a team of two.Vista is a truly global company, employing over 4,000 colleagues at operations hubs, hangars and crew bases across Europe, the United States, Middle East and Asia. With a workforce across different continents, offices, many of whom are flying at any one time, and a fast-paced culture built around outstanding service and ambitious growth, you will need to be flexible, agile, creative, collaborative and open to a test and learn approach.This role is based in London with two days worked at the office per week. Your Responsibilities:Internal Communications responsibilities:

  • Developing, implementing and managing a communications strategy to educate and align colleagues with the Group’s aim, culture and values.
  • Collaborating with HR, Corporate and Brand Communications, and business teams on developing and delivering a comprehensive internal communications plan.
  • Supporting Corporate Communications with Executive Committee (ExCo) communications to colleagues.
  • Responsibility for content utilised throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, induction, learning and development, offboarding, etc.
  • Capturing content that celebrates our news, opportunities for colleagues, latest product and partnerships launches. Connect back to our employer branding to reach both candidates and colleagues.
  • Developing and overseeing the tools and content through which internal communications are cascaded through the business, including intranet, events, campaigns, etc.
  • Supporting education of colleagues about group-wide processes and procedures, including crisis communications.
  • Ensuring a consistent language is spoken across all Vista entities.

Employer Brand responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the Talent Acquisition team to develop, implement, and manage innovative recruitment marketing strategies, understanding the hiring needs and tailoring campaigns accordingly.
  • Developing targeted campaigns across email, pay-per-click, social media, etc, overseeing segmentation, organization, and copywriting.
  • Overseeing the analysis and reporting on the effectiveness of recruitment campaigns and make data-driven adjustments.
  • Monitoring and managing our employer brand presence across various platforms externally, including LinkedIn, Glassdoor, our career site and job boards to ensure relevance and responsiveness.
  • Collaborating with the Corporate Communications and Marketing teams to ensure consistency with Group brand guidelines.
  • Developing and managing the content for the Group’s careers websites, candidate attraction activations, and recruitment events – live and virtual.
  • Developing and leading an Employee Advocacy strategy that promotes Vista’s employer brand and educates Colleague about how to talk about the Group.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Experience developing and managing both internal communications and employer branding initiatives in a global organization. Experience dealing with non-office-based populations will be considered advantageous.
  • Experience developing strategies for internal communications and employer branding that are comprehensive, suitable for a diverse workforce and sufficiently flexible for an organization that is growing and changing.
  • Demonstrable experience collaborating across business functions to ensure the effective execution of strategies and initiatives, and for sourcing shareable stories for internal and external audiences.
  • Has utilised data to develop future campaigns and maximize the effectiveness of efforts and investment.
  • Able, willing, and has experience of both developing strategies and being hands on, to deliver outcomes.
  • Team management experience including motivating, coaching, skills development and giving feedback.
