If you’re experienced with Ontario payroll processes and thrive in a deadline-driven role, we’d love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:– Administer and coordinate all payroll-related functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing
– Verify employee timesheets in ADP and calculate fringe benefits, group insurance, overtime, bonuses, and final settlements
– Prepare pay slips and maintain data accuracy across payroll platforms and Excel spreadsheet
– Manage employee onboarding and offboarding within the payroll system, including benefits and RRSP enrollments
– Ensure proper processing of payroll deductions and contributions in compliance with Ontario payroll legislation
– Produce and verify year-end reporting, including T4s and other required documentation
– Maintain compliance with union and non-union payroll practices and agreements
– Liaise with internal departments and external providers to ensure smooth payroll operations and issue resolutionQualifications:– 3 to 5 years of hands-on payroll experience, including processing union and non-union payroll
– Strong knowledge of Ontario payroll regulations, deductions, and tax compliance
– Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now is required
– Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting
– Familiarity with payroll-related accounting functions
– High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
– Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong problem-solving abilities
