We are located at the University of B.C., with transit and bike access around the city. We have a quiet home, and are looking for somebody with toddler childcare experience, and a demonstrated interest in early childhood development, play and psychology. Weight handling of up to 40 lbs is required. We require somebody who is looking for a longer-term placement, who has a passion for spending time with and playing with children: who is patient, calm, likes to pretend, and be creative, likes to sing songs, read, play outside, make arts/crafts with a child. Also, on a professional level, someone who is punctual, reliable, organized, energetic, optimistic, self-starting, and has good communication skills, with at least a high-school education and childcare experience on job-start date.
