Then how about working with one of the world’s most recognised motor vehicle manufacturer?My client provide a wide range of services for commercial vehicle customers throughout Scotland and are now a Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle franchised business. As a result, we are looking for a Parts Advisor for their Mercedes Truck parts department to join their expanding and successful team based in Grangemouth.The parts team use modern technology to ensure the right parts are delivered at the right time and at the right cost to customers. Your role is to ensure that all required parts and additional accessories for any particular repair or service are available, or procured, at the earliest opportunity and that stock is in first class condition. You will maintain a stock control system and assist staff in parts identification, carry out stock inventory checks and ensure the ordering function meets customer demands.Ideally with experience sourcing and supplying commercial vehicle parts to customers, you must have excellent time management skills and always think with the customer in mind. The ability to work well as part of a team and deliver consistent performance in a fast paced environment is key in this role.

What are we looking for?

• Motivated and driven individuals with a ‘can do’ attitude

• Experience within a customer focused environment, ideally within the automotive or transport sector, or with a parts or service background.

• Well organised, with the ability to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure

• Effective communicators with strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Proficient IT skills with working knowledge of MS Office

• Strong team player with the ability to work to own initiative

• Experience in a commercial vehicle parts operation or in a comparable role within the automotive sector.

This is a full time role based on site in Grangemouth offering career development opportunities, staff incentives including a car leasing scheme and a great working environment. Hours of work are 8.30am – 5pm Mon- Fri.
