We’re looking for passionate and commercially-minded individuals across multiple levels & with a breadth of experience.You’ll be (depending on level)Your role will expand in scope and responsibility depending on your level of experience:
- Managing and Growing Strategic Partnerships: Persuade new local government partners to join us, launch them, build relationships and drive revenue growth opportunities throughout all partnerships.
- Securing Growth Opportunities: Identify and secure expansion opportunities through customer discovery and an understanding of government funding options, develop proposals and lead contract negotiations.
- Engaging Beam’s Referrer Network: Work closely and collaboratively across all of our accounts to create cross-customer opportunities and develop new partnerships through referrals from current partners.
- Achieving Ambitious KPIs: Constantly improve how we bring Beam’s services to more people, contributing to key performance metrics and expanding our share of local government budgets.
- Data Analysis: Analyse partnership data, provide actionable insights, and demonstrate impact to grow your accounts.
- Contributing to Team Development: Play a key role in the continuous improvement of the Partnerships function.
You are
- Comfortable in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
- Commercially savvy, growing revenue is the key goal of this role.
- Naturally inclined toward problem-solving and finding simple solutions to complex challenges – especially those around commercial negotiations.
- A strong networker, able to build excellent relationships with stakeholders, comprehensively map out customer org charts and identify decision makers.

You’ll need (varying by role level)
- Demonstrable experience selling to new partners and/or driving growth through partnership or account management.
- Strong strategic thinking and experience leading contract negotiations.
- Experience in managing large accounts and building complex customer partnerships.
- Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Diplomacy and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders across government and charitable organisations.
- Compassion for people in challenging situations.
- Ability to multitask, adapt to change and remain resilient with a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (we use HubSpot) is a cherry on top for this role!
