Penn State Extension in Bradford and Sullivan County is seeking a part time Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant:

Candidates should possess excellent grammar and proofreading skills, basic computer skills such as Microsoft Excel, Word, etc
.Preference given to those with 1+ years of related experience and a High School diploma or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
The position is based at Penn State Extension’s Bradford County office located at 200 Main Street, Towanda, PA 16371 with frequent travel to the Sullivan county office located at 9219 Route 487, Dushore, PA 18614.
This is a part-time position anticipated to be for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding. The individual will work up to 21 hours/week, usually consisting of two work days in the Bradford county office and one day in the Sullivan county office. An occasional flexible work day schedule may be necessary.
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS
Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
