position Title: Outdoor education Leader (Position description PDF)
Position Service Site: Camp Ehawee (Mindoro, WI)
Service Time: May 19 – August 14, 2026 (450 hours total, 40 Hours/Week)
Benefits: Living stipend total for the whole term = $6,500 ($500 per week). An AmeriCorps Education Award of approximately $1,900 will be awarded upon successful completion of service.
Onsite housing and meals are provided by the placement site. Living onsite is a requirement for this position.

SERVICE DESCRIPTION: Camp Ehawee’s Outdoor Education Leader will be responsible for overseeing nature-focused programs for girls attending Summer Camp as they complete the badge requirements for each week on-site and off-site. The WisCorps member will lead activities such as guided hikes, canoe trips, and overnight park visits. The Placement will provide meaningful experiences for girls as they teach and guide them through a nature-based curriculum.
