Mier Temporary Staffing is hiring! Title: Order Desk Clerk
Location: Toronto, ON
Length of Assignment: Contract
Salary: $19-20/hrOur client in Toronto, ON is actively looking for an Order Desk Clerk to join their team.Main Responsibilities:

  • Process Orders (phone or electronic orders)
  • Customer/client liaison
  • Coordinate special customer requests with warehouse
  • Payment processing
  • Backup to other members in the department, i.e. vacation relief etc.
  • Provide telephone support for “Reception ” when occupied or during absences.
  • Assisting Customer pick up orders when called in
  • Other duties as assigned reports

Required Skills, Knowledge and Competencies:Exceptional customer service skills with passion to provide great customer service * Strong numeric data entry skills, proficiency in MS Office and Excel, pleasant phone manners

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to deal with high volume paperwork
  • Ability to work in a deadline oriented and fast paced and high volume environment
  • Being a self-starter and able to work both independently or as a team
