Job Title: Operator – Urgently Hiring!
Pay: $22+/HR (Depending on Experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Full-time)
Start Date: ASAPWe are seeking an Operator for a direct-hire position with our client, located in Woonsocket, RI. They specialize in textile engineering and manufacturing for aerospace and defense, producing high-performance woven fabrics and composite materials used in NASA missions, military applications, and jet engines. This role involves tasks such as winding spools, working with spinning frames and looms, operating twisting machines, and maintaining defect logs. It’s a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow written work instructions.As an Operator, you will be responsible for:Winding spools and handling creeling/lacing equipment such as spinning frames and looms.Operating twisting machines and stretch-breaking equipment.Maintaining defect logs and measuring critical parameters using calibrated instruments.Inspecting and documenting parts for compliance with work instructions.Preparing completed units for the next phase of production or shipment.Assisting in process improvement projects to enhance quality, cost, and scheduling.Cross-training in additional work centers as needed.The ideal candidate will have:High school diploma or GED (required).Must be a U.S. Citizen (no work visas or green cards).Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Strong math skills.Prior experience working with high-end fibers (carbon, glass, ceramic) is a plus.Benefits:16 Earned Time Off (ETO) days + Paid HolidaysMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401k with Company MatchTuition Reimbursement$1,000 Sign-On BonusReady to take the next step?
