OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pensions Associate (Operations). As a Pensions Associate, you will play a crucial role in reviewing and logging casework, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of information before passing it over to the administration team for processing.
How you’ll make an impact
- Carry out administration tasks in a timely manner, following internal processes and company policies
- Manage workload efficiently, considering time required for peer review
- Connect with scheme members through various channels, including email, letter, and telephone
- Prepare member correspondence and input data into client reports
- Collaborate with team members and build relationships with supporting teams
- Provide support to team members and assist the Team Leader as required
- Engage and be visible with team members and the Team Leader throughout the day
- Assist the administration team when necessary
About You
- Previous experience in administration would be advantageous
- Ability to process, collect, and input data accurately
- Strong prioritization skills to meet deadlines and disclosure requirements
- Excellent communication skills to handle queries via telephone, letter, and email
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of pensions and retirement plans would be beneficial
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Professional and friendly demeanor
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under minimal supervision
- Experience in customer service would be beneficial
- Ability to handle difficult or challenging situations with integrity and empathy
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in database management systems would be advantageous
- Ability to adapt to new technology and software systems
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends
