The Operations Director role will report into the Managing Director.This role is a full time position on a fixed-term employment contract. We are looking for someone ASAP and will be replacing an absent employee, this role will end when the person returns and will likely be until 18th July at the latest.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Act as the glue between the Client Services Team (CST) and Staffing departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and operational efficiency to deliver on business objectives.

  • Monitor and optimise processes between CST and Finance to ensure profitable, operationally sound solutions are developed prior to deal close. Oversee project invoicing and reconciliation according to the agreed schedule, and support with payment follow-ups.
  • Lead both departments with a growth mindset, fostering a culture aligned with company values and long-term vision.
  • Provide dynamic leadership to departmental sub-heads, holding them accountable for performance and delivery against SMART objectives.
  • Build CST capability and confidence in delivering insight-led projects, and support the organic growth of Elevate IMPACT services.
  • Take ownership of forecasting accuracy for all confirmed (won) client work.
  • Ensure full compliance from the Staffing Team across delivery, financial, and legal dimensions.
  • Achieve and maintain a minimum average GP of 33% and meet quarterly net profit targets for the department.

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in an operational and/or business leadership role within an agency environment, ideally with exposure to the event staffing sector.
  • A track record of building and leading high-performing teams that deliver excellence for blue-chip clients.
  • Experience managing large and complex portfolios of client work.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and resolve issues independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with the confidence to address challenges and make sound decisions.
  • Commercially astute, with demonstrable financial acumen and strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong project management skills, with a disciplined approach to timelines and delivery.
  • Financially literate, with exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and financial systems.
  • Highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Confident communicator, negotiator, and presenter.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to influence and work effectively alongside senior stakeholders.

SALARYThis role offers a salary between €60,000 – €65,000 per annum depending on experience.Job description is not all inclusive.
