Manheim Vehicle Services is looking for dedicated individuals to join us as we support customer de-fleet, multiple remarketing channels, and a complete range of vehicle preparation services. Our agile and responsive support function is key to managing a variety of customer requirements and delivering services to a high standard.About the Role:As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of vehicles on-site, from arrival to despatch. This role involves personal responsibility and coordination of team members to ensure smooth operations.Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Management: Safely record, store, and move vehicles and loose items on-site.
- Fueling and Maintenance: Fuel vehicles, jump-start them safely, and receive deliveries.
- Inspection and Documentation: Conduct physical vehicle inspections for transport damage, update spreadsheets/systems, and store customer items securely.
- Process Coordination: Ensure items are picked and repatriated to vehicles in collection lanes and manage despatching vehicles off the internal stock management system.
- Customer Interaction: Liaise with collection/delivery agents and ensure a smooth customer experience.
Objectives:
- Team Coordination: Facilitate vehicle pulling with accuracy and efficiency by coordinating team activities.
- Record Keeping: Update vehicle records correctly and accurately on relevant systems.
- Storage Management: Ensure items are stored correctly and vehicles are receipted and despatched properly.
- Safety Compliance: Observe health and safety rules, drive professionally, and treat all vehicles with respect.
- Customer Service: Conduct yourself calmly and courteously while dealing with customers and team members.
