OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team within the Adults & Health short Breaks teams based in Seeleys Overnight Short Breaks and Seeleys Day Short Breaks. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across various sites, ensuring that all areas are kept clean, orderly, and infection-free.This is a one year secondment/fixed term contract opportunity working part time 21 hours per week.   • Maintain cleanliness to COSHH standards and regularly monitor infection control measures in line with CQC.
  • Perform cleaning duties thoroughly and efficiently without direct supervision.
  • Safely use and store hazardous cleaning products.
  • Interact with customers in a calm and helpful manner.
  • Perform specific cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, emptying bins, dusting, polishing surfaces, and cleaning toilets, bathrooms, and kitchens.

FixedAs a ‘fixed’ worker, you’ll spend most of your time in the same location, which will likely be a fixed office or location where your role is performed. Typically, you’ll be based in the same location as the rest of your team, because you provide a particular service from that fixed location or need access to information there.About you

  • Prior experience in cleaning operations and best practices.
  • Knowledge of COSHH, cleaning standards, and infection control measures in line with CQC
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions clearly and accurately.
  • Good attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative.

Additional Requirements:Ability to work outside of normal business hours and provide support for seven-day working.
