Location: Remote (requirement to attend an onsite monthly meeting in London or Birmingham)We are working with a wonderful mental health charity to recruit an experienced Onboarding Administrator to join their busy Resourcing and Onboarding function.About the role:The Onboarding Administrator role is a crucial part of the in-house Resourcing and Onboarding function. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and delivering day-to-day administration support and completing relevant compliance checks for new starters. You will provide a first-class customer service experience to both hiring managers and candidates while liaising confidently with external and third-party providers.Key Responsibilities:Candidate Experience: Ensure clear communication and respond to queries throughout the onboarding journey to create a positive experience.Hiring Manager Experience: Provide timely communication and respond to queries to ensure a smooth onboarding process for hiring managers.Communication: Offer dedicated support by responding to enquiries via phone and email, ensuring the advice given is accurate and in accordance with internal policies and best practices.Administration Support: Assist with administrative tasks throughout the onboarding lifecycle, including maintaining candidate records, ID badge ordering, and data input.System Maintenance: Confidently use the applicant tracking system (ATS), HR Information System (HRIS), and other internal systems as required.Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the recruitment and onboarding process, participate in team projects, and engage in personal development.Team Building: Attend meetings in person and online with direct and wider teams throughout the charity. In-person meetings require travel to Birmingham, London, or other service locations.Skills/Experience required:Proven success in a busy HR-related administrative role, ideally within an onboarding/compliance function.

Knowledge of Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirements.Understanding of employment and immigration laws (e.g., right to work checks).Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in high-volume workloads.Collaborative, flexible, and deadline-driven work style.Solution-oriented and a confident problem solver.Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Excellent ICT and communication skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn internal systems.Capability to work independently and practically.Desirable Skills and Experience:Knowledge of HR and recruitment processes and best practices.Knowledge of GDPR.How to ApplyIf you meet the above criteria and are passionate about improving the lives of everyone affected by mental illness, we would love to hear from you.As leading charity recruitment specialists and a certified B Corp™, Harris Hill is committed to high and ever-improving standards of equitable and inclusive recruitment.
