- Helping our team by scheduling interviews and meetings, communicating with candidates and setting up video calls and interviews at the office
- Arrange company-wide/regional events such as virtual team meetings and our Summer/ Christmas Party
- All office administration: you’ll see no task as too small, and if something is worth doing, it is worth doing well
- Ensure the office is stocked correctly – from stationery to coffee & biscuits; this includes our weekly bagel order and monthly breakfast!
- General office maintenance – occasionally something breaks, and we’ll need you to make sure it’s fixed in a timely manner
- Manage and maintain the relationship with our third-party IT company and Office Cleaning Company
- Meet and greet visitors (you’ll know we’re expecting them, of course, and be able to give them a warm 1RG welcome).
- Review and approve invoices for third-party services
- Work alongside our HR Manager and external health & safety consultants to ensure health & safety compliance is maintained. This will include maintaining DSE records and writing and updating risk assessments
- Supporting our HR Manager with HR administration e.g. preparing offer letters and references where required, completing quarterly audit of right to work documentation, organising interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
- Collaborate with HR Manager and Social Committee to help to deliver a culture we can be proud of.
Our ideal candidate would be someone who…
- Brings a positive outlook and a ‘can-do’ mindset to everything they do
- Is proactive – you take initiative and apply logic to solve problems
- Has strong communication skills, both written and verbal. You’ll take on responsibility for some of our team comms and HR administration, so it is essential that your spoken and written English is excellent
- Has some prior experience in a junior HR role or has studied/is studying HR as a degree/via CIPD and wants to apply their learning
- Is caring and empathetic towards others
- Is tech-savvy – we’ll be looking to you to maintain the equipment in our meeting rooms, to maintain a list of all kit that our team have and need etc
- Enjoys organising, planning, and is good at prioritising (from office seating plans to interviews)
- Is keen to learn new things so if you don’t know how to do something, you’ll enjoy finding out
- Wants to support a capable, successful team and enable them, through a positive working environment, to be at their best
- Is comfortable being privy to confidential information and can work in a calm and discreet manner.
