Our client, a leading Healthcare company, is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for their Salisbury, MD location. This is a direct hire opportunity for a professional ready to make a positive impact in the healthcare field.Responsibilities:

• Engage in almost constant contact with patients and families, requiring excellent skills in communication, motivation, and teaching.
• Collaborate effectively with medical staff, department managers, nursing personnel, and administration.
• Maintain cooperative working relationships both inter and intra-departmentally.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• Experience with computerized documentation systems, specifically McKesson and HEC.
• Proficiency in English for reading and communication.
• Ability to meet treatment needs of patients and families under time and accuracy pressures.
• Effective communication skills are essential.
• Experience with Med surg, decondition (surgical patients), ICU/MCICU (open heart) patients, and a large population of ortho patients.
• Maryland State licensure and CPR certification required.
