Are you a night owl looking for a new industrial maintenance job near the Twin Cities Metro? Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Rogers, Minnesota. We are seeking candidates for a Night Maintenance Technician role on 3rd shift. This night shift job will work from 11:00pm-7:00am, Monday through Friday; overtime hours are regularly available as well. Compensation for this direct hire maintenance job in Rogers is $58,240-$66,560 annually, depending on skills and experience.
What you’ll do as the Night Maintenance Technician:

• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance tasks and answering trouble calls.
• Troubleshoot problems with the use of schematics and wiring diagrams on motor and heater circuits ranging from low voltage to 480v three phase.
• Remove and replace defective parts from equipment with the use of hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools.
• Communicate effectively with the shift supervisor to prioritize repairs.
• Make entries to the maintenance log explaining problems encountered, repairs made and parts used or needed.
• Keep company tools put away and in working order.
• Fabricate repair parts, machine guarding, mezzanines, etc. using shop equipment. (Welders, plasma cutter, torch, grinder, etc.)

What you’ll bring to the Night Maintenance Technician role:

• High School diploma is preferred, but not required
• 1 year of relevant work experience
• Electrical experience is required
• Good organizational skills with an ability to address multiple issues at once.
• Effective communication skills in both spoken and written formats
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations and to other employees of the company. Must be able to understand safety rules, SOP’s, work instructions.
