SalariedApplication Deadline: June 30,2025Are you an experienced Network Engineer with proven analytical and problem solving skills? This role requires an individual that will plan and coordinate the design, installation and connectivity of computer and network systems to ensure stable operation of the organizations IT assets. • Developing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all new and existing network hardware, software, and communication links
• Insuring all implementations meet and adhere to the Information Technology department’s compliance policies, internal control procedures, Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario control specifications, and Casino workplace policy and procedures
• Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation

• Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
• Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation with a rotating on-call schedule
• This is primarily an onsite position with flexibility for occasional remote work

The ideal candidate has:

• University degree in computer science
• Five (5) years hands-on experience managing and configuring enterprise Cisco networks, including Cisco Products (ACS, ASA, Catalyst Centre, Firepower, Meraki, MDS, Stealthwatch, Umbrella, etc.)
• Understanding of Palo Alto Networks Firewalls
• Cisco CCNA or CCNP, CompTIA A+ and Network+
• Deep understanding of network protocols (IPSEC, SSL, HSRP, BGP, QOS) and network security
• Hands-on experience with monitoring network diagnostic and analytics tools
• Knowledge and understanding of system flow charts, data processing concepts, and telecommunications principles
• Knowledge and understanding of LogicMonitor is an asset
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with high attention to detail
• Proven ability to liaise with vendors and other IT personnel
