JOB description SUMMARY:
The Natural Resources Supervisor II is a leadership role responsible for overseeing multiple natural resource teams and ensuring the protection, preservation, and sustainable management of county-owned natural resources. This position combines technical expertise in ecological monitoring, land management, and data-driven decision-making with supervisory and strategic leadership responsibilities. The supervisor will guide teams in implementing monitoring programs, analyzing data to inform management decisions, and ensuring effective collaboration both internally and with external partners.
SCHEDULE: This position operates on a four day work week, Monday-Thursday from 7AM-5:30PM. Primarily functioning in-office with some remote work.
COMPENSATION:
Hiring Range: $110,000-$120,000 USD Annually
Compensation will be determined based on education, experience and skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of five years working experience in natural resource management, ecological monitoring, or related field, with at least three being in a supervisor role.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in natural resource management, ecology, environmental science, or related field.
*Note: An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
