MOT Tester required in Gloucester.

• Between £30,000-35,000 starting salary pending experience plus access to over-performance bonus.
• Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.

Our client, one of the UK’s leading automotive retailers with dealerships nationwide, is currently looking to hire an MOT Tester for one of their franchise-approved dealerships in Gloucester.Reporting to the Service Manager and working as part of a friendly workshop team, you shall be primarily responsible for carrying out MOT tests on customers’ vehicles to DVSA testing standards. You shall also carry out associated service and repair work as well as provide overall workshop support as and when required.To be eligible you will need to hold an active Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence and a UK driving license with minimal points. You will ideally be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair however our client is also interested in candidates that are time served in their experience of vehicle mechanics provided they have an active MOT licence. Overall, you will be a good team player with excellent communication skills, liaising with other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work through the workshop.
