The OpportunityWe are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Mobile Services Operations Manager to oversee the operations of multiple sites and ensure exceptional service delivery for our clients. In this key role, you will be responsible for operational account management, client engagement, and the overall performance of your team. Your team will be operating Patrol and Response security as well as Key Holding 24/7. You will be reporting to the Head of Business Services Manager and will ensure that every operation runs as smoothly as possible.The role will be based at our Head Office in Granta Park, Cambridge with frequent travel across Peterborough, Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Cambridge and Ipswich.Your key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Full operational account management for key clients, ensuring service excellence and delivering an outstanding client experience.
  • Oversee staff performance, recruitment, welfare, training, and resourcing to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage key accounts, including cost management and ensuring client KPI’s are met.
  • Retain and foster client relationships, hosting regular performance meetings to track and improve service.
  • Commercial P&L knowledge and experience.
  • Ensure all mobile services contracts are managed and serviced according to client needs.
  • Lead on employee engagement, developing a higher performing team.
  • Responsible for fleet management.
  • Part of on call team (occasion telephone contact out of hours)
  • Provide ongoing support to clients for their security-related day-to-day issues.
  • Induct and train new security staff, and conduct refresher training for existing staff.
  • Maintain up-to-date personal training (SIA, First Aid, Fire Safety, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, conducting uniform and badge checks, spot checks, and regular tests.
  • Respond quickly to unforeseen staff replacements and provide holiday or sickness cover when necessary.
  • Produce detailed and accurate reports for each site under your management.

Full in-house training will be provided.Essential Skills and Experience

  • Valid SIA Licence, or SIA Trained
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • Proven operational management experience, ideally within the mobile services or security industry.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and a high level of integrity.
  • An advocate for maintaining and delivering great people ethics and behaviours.
  • Commercially astute, with a focus on high performance and client satisfaction.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences with a curious, intuitive mindset.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Highly presentable in line with corporate standards.
  • A hands on approach is required with all aspects of Patrol and Response Security.
  • A resilient, proactive, and organised individual with excellent customer service skills.
