Mobile Generator Engineer – Northampton
Salary: Up to £44,000 per annum (Company Van + 25 Days Holiday + Bonus Package)
We’re hiring a Mobile Generator Engineer to join a busy, well-established depot in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who knows their way around generators and is ready to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, field-based role.
You’ll be the go-to person for servicing, fault-finding, and maintaining plant and power equipment out on-site and occasionally back at base.

What you’ll be doing as a Mobile Generator Engineer:

• Servicing and maintaining generators (field and depot-based)
• Diagnosing faults – electrical and mechanical
• Genset synchronisation and repair work
• Working with customers directly and keeping service records tidy

What you need as a Mobile Generator Engineer:

• NVQ in Plant Maintenance or similar mechanical background
• Generator or plant hire experience
• Full UK driving licence (held for 3+ years)
• Great with customers and comfortable working solo or as a team
