Rethink Mental Illness are hiring a Support Worker to join our inspiring and friendly team at Hornsey Lane, Islington. We believe that everyone should be treated with respect and dignity – and that’s why equity is one of our core values.1 x Full-Time (35 hours) position available – Day and night work (sleep-ins) Shifts will be 5 in 7 days, inclusive of weekends.Overview of the service:Hornsey Lane is a 12 bed residential care home for older people (55+) with a long term primary Mental health diagnosis. Registered Care service staffed 24 hours. We provide a welcoming, safe, and non-judgmental environment that supports the personal growth and well-being of our residents. Our holistic approach considers all aspects of residents’ lives, not just their diagnosis. We collaborate with community agencies and services, involving residents in a recovery model with personalised, regularly reviewed support plans.JOIN THE TEAM!How You Will Make a Difference: As a Support Worker, you will support individuals in regaining confidence and engaging in social and workplace activities. You’ll work closely with service users to achieve their personal goals and access necessary support on their recovery journey.
