In this transformative two-year program, you’ll work on developing design concepts for Feasibility, Concept, Basic Design, Site Master Planning Studies, and detailed design information. Your focus will be on the technical aspects of projects, with a particular emphasis on those related to the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences industry.As a participant in our Graduate Program, you’ll receive mentorship support, comprehensive training in technical and non-technical skills, and opportunities for rotations. - Collaborate directly with our prestigious clients, global brand leaders in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.
- Work alongside a dedicated group of industry professionals who are passionate about delivering cutting-edge facilities.
- Attend job and construction meetings in-office and onsite.
- Provide support during the purchasing phase of projects by compiling technical bid analysis for process equipment packages.
- Support the IPS CAD and BIM teams with the development of 2D and 3D engineering packages.
- Prepare process equipment specifications, calculations, datasheets, and schedules.
- Prepare equipment layouts.
- Apply industry standards and guidelines to equipment and pipework design to ensure pharmaceutical safety and quality compliance.
- Work the supply chain to obtain vendor compliance and cost estimates.
- Work with an IPS-assigned mentor to achieve mechanical engineering chartership status.
- Develop small project cost estimates.
- Promote the use of IPS design and production standards.

- Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A commitment to attaining further professional development within the next three years, with support provided by the company.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with an emphasis on fostering a communicative and inclusive workplace.
- Proven skills in computer operation for engineering design programs and computer-aided drafting.
