Our fleet consists of a wide variety of commercial vehicles including trucks, vans, and specialized vehicles and we take pride in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining strong industry partnerships.Job DescriptionThe Role:Our business hire a range of light commercial vehicles to companies within the construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors.We have a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanic to join us and play a pivotal role in the success of the depot by ensuring that our customers can hire what they want, when they need it through the efficient servicing and maintaining a variety of vehicles within the SVAT fleet. As part of our high-performing depot team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles either on site at our Depot in Glasgow or at a customers location.QualificationsQualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a mechanic/ in a field-based role with a relevant mechanical qualification or time served is essential
• Sound and current knowledge of light commercial vehicle engines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure
• A customer-focused approach workload and committed team player
• A valid driving licence is essential
