Job description
Prestige Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Mechanic to repair and maintain Class 8 trucks and heavy equipment for a 1st shift direct hire opportunity with outstanding benefits.Primary Responsibilities
- Perform and maintain routine preventative maintenance and safety related repairs on all vehicles and mobile equipment
- Respond and assist drivers in over the road emergency mechanical breakdowns
- Diagnose pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems including component failures and repairs
- Welding
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Diesel engine/heavy equipment mechanic experience
- Welding/Torch experience
- Ability to perform DOT safety regulated repairs
