Job description:Stantec are looking to appoint an M&E Digital Coordinator to join our Buildings Digital Delivery team in Reading. Our portfolio of clients and work is expanding as the demand for our expertise continues to grow and our M&E and environmental design portfolio is no exception. The variety and volume of our project wins is ever increasing, and we have ambitious plans to strengthen our building services engineering and environmental design capability and as such we are looking to add further experience to our team to support our aspirational growth plans.This is a unique opportunity to work in a truly integrated engineering environment that has been structured to respond to the future demands of the construction industry. Our multi-disciplinary engineering teams within Stantec work together to deliver building solutions using the latest technology underpinned by ISO19650 amongst other industry toolkits. Work stages will vary, ranging from strategic master planning through to detailed design and construction and forming part of a wider M&E and multi-disciplinary engineering teams, located in London and Reading.The role involves support testing, evaluating and implementing various digital tools to bring additional value to the business and our clients. You will also be responsible for model coordination using Autodesk Construction Cloud or Autodesk Navisworks to coordinate M&E models with Architecture and Structure models. A key aspect of the role is to ensure all M&E Revit drawing work is fully coordinated, avoiding any clashes, and accurately integrated within the architectural design and structural design.You will have the opportunity to work on projects across a wide range of industry sectors including residential (40-800+ units), commercial, education, healthcare and more. The team is currently using Autodesk AEC Collection 2020+, Revit MEP and BIM360.This is a key role within our team and there will be ample scope to grow and develop your personal profile and learn new skills along the way to further your career.About YouYou will ideally be degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline and possess experience as a M&E Technician or BIM Coordinator within a multi-disciplinary consultancy. Applicants should be competent in the use of Autodesk Revit MEP and Autodesk Construction Cloud, and should have a keen interest in technology and improving existing processes.You will also have the necessary skills and experience to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders where you will be working closely with clients, and other professional staff across multi-disciplinary business groups.
