| Summary | The Math Program Manager supports the Math Department’s program needs and key support resources, which includes oversight of the Math Resource Center (MRC) and support of the corequisite program. This position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including the supervision of various key areas within the MRC such as the Math testing area, college-level and corequisite support course tutoring areas, and foundational learning classrooms. The Math Program Manager will be instrumental in collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance overall student success in mathematics, providing insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making and resource allocation. This role requires a proactive approach to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment, driving continuous improvement, and supporting programmatic offerings in pursuit of the department’s mission to support students of all backgrounds to academic success in mathematics. |

As a participating member of the Maryland Retirement and Pension System, HCC offers two retirement options: The Pension, which requires a 7% employee contribution and The ORP, a 403(b) with a 7.25% employer contribution only. Employees in positions that do not require a bachelor’s degree must participate in The Pension. Employees that possess a bachelor’s degree and hold professional positions that require a bachelor’s degree may choose to participate in either The Pension or The ORP. |
