• Job Title: Marketing Placement
• Job Type: Temporary contract, 12 months
• Hours: 37.5 per week Monday – Friday
• Job Location: Deeside
• Salary: National Minimum Wage

Are you a dynamic and driven Marketing or Business student looking for a year-in-industry placement with a global leader? At SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing, and certification company, we’re offering an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing Team and make an impact from day one.You will assist in building brand and service awareness across digital platforms, drive website traffic, and support lead acquisition. You’ll also get hands-on experience organising conferences, events, and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of digital marketing campaigns to drive engagement and lead generation
• Support CRM updates (SFDC), track campaign effectiveness, and liaise with sales and enquiry teams
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities
• Help organise and manage marketing campaigns, events, and content creation across channels
• Monitor performance using tools like Google Looker Studio, PowerBI, and CRM analytics
• Contribute to the development of marketing materials aligned with SGS’s brand and identity
• Stay on top of the latest marketing trends and innovations

QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For:

• Studying towards a Marketing or Business degree
• Minimum A-Levels or equivalent (including GCSEs in English and Maths, grade C or above)
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Team-oriented with resilience and drive to get things done
• Creative thinker with a passion for content creation and brand building
• Comfortable using MS Office and ideally CRM systems
