Our team is currently seeking a qualified marketing events manager to join our high-performance
global marketing team. The ideal candidate must be creative, detail-oriented, hardworking and have
a strong sense of teamwork. You’ll be entering the exciting field of legal technology and legal
operations where Morae specializes in working with leading law firms and corporate legal
departments on innovative solutions that harmonize technology, people, and process into
transformative outcomes for our clients.
Responsibilities:

• Project managing events (for EMEA and APAC regions) from initial conception through

planning stages, to on-site execution

• Managing the logistical side of all events, including developing staffing and execution plans
• Post-event follow up with Sales and tracking ROI through Salesforce
• Managing invoices
• Sourcing and selecting appropriate venues for hosted events
• Liaising with senior stakeholders within Morae and updating them on project progress
• Working with the Design team to produce event materials – booth graphics etc
• Working with the team to have invites/registration pages made up/events added to the

• Keeping Wrike (project management tool) updated with all event progress
• Using Canva to tweak designs on graphics etc
• Managing vendor relationships
• Working with Partners on co-hosted events
• Helping with budgeting/making decisions on which events to attend/recommending events

based on past experiences
Skills and Experience:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate in a

clear, concise, and understandable manner with correct grammar and style

• Ability to multi-task in the management of multiple and concurrent events and other

marketing activities around the world

• Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to translate complex

requirements into clear steps for the successful execution of event planning

• Proficient at managing, tracking, and reporting on event schedules and logistics, including

budget spend

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and

PowerPoint)

• At least two years of experience in events marketing is required
• Interpersonal skills should be strong to excel in this role
• Capable problem solver to ensure ideal outcomes for events, even in the face of unexpected

logistical challenges

• Proficiency in social media marketing is a plus
• Marketing experience at a law firm, professional services firm, or legal technology or

managed services provider is strongly preferred but not required
