Manufacturing Supervisor | Machining Experience Required | 80k Plus DOE

If you have at least 5 years of CNC machining (mill, lathe, grinding, polishing etc) experience you may be interested in this Manufacturing Supervisor role.  No prior supervisory experience or degree required. Machine Operation experience is non-negotiable.

Manufacturing Supervisor Job Duties:

• Promotes positive morale within his/her department by working with each employee to immediately resolve issues, providing timely feedback on employee performance and by treating department members with respect and fairness.
• Responsible for implementing operating methods and procedures designed to improve efficiency, eliminate operational problems, reduce costs and improve quality.
• Plans, organizes, and supervises shift operations to meet production schedules in the most cost-effective manner.
• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned machinists by providing needed process Information, direction to resolve issues, adherence to process control procedures and/or direction on safe work practices and techniques.
• Develops, trains, and involves employees in maintaining and improving departmental efficiency, productivity, quality and teamwork.
• To ensure the efficient flow of production by optimizing the use of manpower, equipment and facilities.
• To assure profitable growth by improving the cost effectiveness of the assigned staff and work centers.
• To ensure the existence of a productive, safe environment to produce components and/or services meeting customer specifications with minimal scrap and rework.
• To ensure the development of technical competence within assigned staff to maximize production efficiency and product quality.
• To assure profitable growth by improving the cost effectiveness of the assigned staff and work centers.

Manufacturing Supervisor Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in aerospace manufacturing environment
• Advanced Machine Operation Experience – Some Programming
  • EDM
  • Mill
  • Lathe
  • Grinder
  • Polisher
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.?

Pay:80K-90K salary per year

Schedule: DAY SHIFT

• Mon-Fri 6:30am-3pm
  • Lots of overtime required, expect to stay as needed for team support
  • Could be working 45-50 hours/week
  • Open to change with multiple shifts with growth in role – opportunity to manage additional shifts in addition
