You will guide associates to envision, execute, and deliver valuable and must-have research to engage clients and expand Gartner’s Research and Advisory business.What you’ll do:Directly oversee a team of analyst and researchers in a multinational team within the Artificial Intelligence practice.Develop new ideas and shape content and/or inquiry capacity to solve client challenges and drive retention.Drive retention and serve as a talent and performance advisor through coaching, performance feedback, development, career pathing and recruitment as necessary.Effectively lead teams through established processes and key performance metrics while driving Gartner’s goal to continuously improve by presenting innovative ideas.Foster an inclusive and engaging environment and drive Gartner’s commitment to DE&I throughout all aspects of the business: hiring practices, associate development, client service and community support.Collaborate cross-functionally within Gartner to ensure that content developed in other practices aligns seamlessly with the overarching requirements and strategic objectives of the Artificial Intelligence Leadership role.Coordinate and integrate diverse insights and methodologies, ensuring consistency, and enhancing the value Gartner delivers for its AI Leader clients.What you’ll need:15+ years of experience working in a research or advisory related role (preferred).Experience managing, developing, and growing a high-performing team in a large enterprise organization.Demonstrated success leading a multinational hybrid team.Ability to coordinate multiple ongoing engagements and prioritize the most critical demands.Advanced analytical skills and the ability to apply a data driven approach to decision making.Ability to coach associates to diagnose and root cause performance to maximize team outcomes.Demonstrated influencing, negotiation, and facilitation skills.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred .Current Gartner experience is required; the transfers will be lateral.Experience in Artificial Intelligence and one of its major subdomains such as GenAI, AI Agency, AI Architectures, AI Governance, AI Leadership, AI Strategy.Proven ability to collaborate across Gartner in larger research initiatives.Experience in working with Analysts and Researchers (PPR).Current Gartner experience is required; the transfers will be lateral.Who you are:Excellent collaborator that will excel in a fast-paced environment and ensure your global team of individual contributors have detailed agendas for all relevant topic areas.Authentic leadership and business acumen to inform appropriate investment decisions on teams’ behalf.Proven team leader with the ability to drive, direct, and ensure on-time and high-quality fulfillment of each relevant research & advisory product.Results-driven professional who establishes credibility and builds trust-based relationships with stakeholders.Analytical thinker with the ability to process information and make actionable recommendations or pivot as necessary.Disciplined leader that prioritizes the team’s capacity to support the business’ most critical activities.Ability to pivot and adjust resources as-needed.Driven and resourceful, and able to solve complex problems and creatively identify how to deliver client insights through data and tools.
