DESCRIPTIONOur vision is to make Amazon the best place for third party Sellers of all sizes to grow and serve customers, leveraging world-class tools and services. The Strategic Account Services (SAS) team is seeking an L6 leader to manage a team of Marketplace Consultants (MCs) based in London / Manchester. Our team of consultants provides strategic advice with a data-driven, collaborative and customer-focused approach as part of the paid SAS program. Ultimately our goal is to help Sellers grow their business on Amazon’s EU Marketplace by consulting across 8 modules and 46 levers, such as FBA (Fullfilment by Amazon), Deals & Advertising. The ideal candidate will be comfortable influencing senior internal and external stakeholders, have strong leadership skills, a track record of using data and tools to drive business growth and be comfortable operating in an ambiguous environment. In addition to your core role of managing Marketplace Consultants, you will lead multiple (sub-)workstreams and EU wide projects with significant autonomy, be responsible for the definition of strategy, action plans and prioritization, ensuring EU/global alignment and owning documents including 6-pagers for review with senior stakeholders and contributing to quarterly business reviews, OP and/or 3-year-planning.Key job responsibilities

  • Manage a team of up to 6 Marketplace Consultants / Team Leads.
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate Selling Partner growth and selection and work with Program teams to develop content, training and tools
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Amazon Marketplace and competitive environment.
  • Take on planning and strategic projects to scale and diversify the program over the longer term.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Several years prior experience in business development / sales / sales-engineering / consulting (top-tier firm), preferably in the technology, internet and e-commerce sectors.
  • Experience successfully leading and developing teams of direct and indirect reports
  • Proven track-record as individual contributor in fostering key client relationships and hitting quotas/targets.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven and autonomous taking responsibility for achieving your targets.
  • Strong analytic and project management skills. • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams across business-development, marketing, operations, product development, legal teams, etc.
  • Good balance between strategic / analytical skills and operational execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to persuade, convince and explain complex concepts up to Director/VP level
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
