KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Governance & Compliance Management to join our Ignition Tax Products organization.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and maintain governance and compliance processes for tax technology initiatives, ensuring activities align with established policies and standards
- Apply working knowledge of compliance, governance, and emerging technologies to support business process alignment with regulatory requirements identified by senior leadership
- Manage small to medium-sized projects, driving process efficiencies, automation opportunities, and smooth adoption of improvements
- Facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration, support stakeholder training on compliance procedures, and assist in communications with compliance stakeholders as directed
- Prepare for audits by gathering documentation, supporting evaluations, and assisting with remediation and follow-up actions under leadership guidance
- Build strong working relationships across teams, promote compliance awareness, and contribute to a culture of ethical and process excellence
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent experience in governance and compliance, preferably within a large professional services or technology-driven environment
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred; minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences
- Proven ability to organize, analyze, and present ideas, facts, and data in a structured and concise manner
- Skilled in analyzing and synthesizing technical data for non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with multiple compliance frameworks and principles; relevant industry certifications (for example: PMP, ISO, SOC, DCAM, CPA) are a plus
