Our team is the driving force behind our role as our customers’ personal holiday expert.The smart way to get away.The impact you’ll haveReporting to the Senior Finance Manager (Balance Sheet), the Management Accountant will primarily support the Balance Sheet team ensuring month end reconciliations are timely and that the data has been accurately recorded. You will work closely with the Financial Operations team and the rest of the Reporting team.Your day-to-day:Be the subject matter expert in fixed assets supporting the D&A inputs in the budget processBe the subject matter expert in hotel downpayments, ensuring that they are treated correctly in the ledger and understanding the relationship between the asset held and the deductions made to supplier payments.Complete month end balance sheet reconciliations in li ne with timelines and to a high quality, and leverage strong commercial understanding to build meaningful management commentary.Seek and drive iteration, automation, and process improvements to create efficienciesEnsure the FX rates within the accounting platform are accurate and updated dailySupport the Reporting team with external auditor requests and other ad hoc reportingYour skillset:Professional accountancy accreditation (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)Newly QualifiedHave a mindset to drive continuous improvement of processes and procedures to support growthGood understanding of internal controls and ability to document end to end processesAbility to quickly pivot and work at paceAttention to detail and able to produce high quality work under pressureDesirable (optional)Google Suite experienceExperience working in the tech or travel sectorsAnaplan experienceSUN systems experienceThe interview journey:Talent Acquisition Partner screening – 30 mins (external candidates only)1st stage with Hiring Manager – 45 minsCase study – 45 minsFinal stage with key stakeholder/s in office – 45 minsAt loveholidays, we’re on a mission to open the world to everyone, giving our customers’ unlimited choice, unmatched ease and unmissable value for their next getaway.
