Join us in our mission to drive meaningful change through innovative water management solutions.To continue our success, we are hiring a Major Projects Manager to manage high potential, major project opportunities with strategically significant key contractors and their delivery partners working nationally in the drainage, civils & infrastructure sector.So, whats the mission?The Major Projects Manager is responsible for maximising the conversion of key Water Management opportunities, supporting all commercial colleagues in the identification of major projects & work collaboratively on the conversion of enquiries to sales.You will play a pivotal part in driving success across major water management projects by engaging early in the pre-tender process. This includes preparing and presenting tailored value propositions and solutions, leveraging the expertise of Marshalls’ product specialists and support teams.Your focus will be on maximising sales opportunities within major projects, ensuring that innovative new product developments (NPD) and specialist solutions across the Civils and Drainage (C&D) portfolio are effectively promoted and delivered.A key aspect of your responsibilities will involve developing and executing a comprehensive Major Project Business Plan, targeting critical stakeholders, identifying key projects, and uncovering product opportunities aligned with national and regional objectives. Collaborating closely with Regional Sales Teams, Key Contractor and Major Project teams, you will work to strengthen commercial leverage while reducing spend leakage across direct and subcontractor channels. By utilising KPIs, CRM tools, and efficient reporting systems, you’ll optimise time management and ensure alignment with best practices to achieve both strategic and operational goals.You will have the opportunity to represent the company at high-profile exhibitions, trade events, CPD seminars, presentations, and corporate gatherings, showcasing our innovative solutions and building valuable connections.Mission Critical Skills:-We are seeking a high-performing candidate with a proven track record of successfully converting major projects within the civils and infrastructure sectors. With a sharp commercial focus, exceptional communication skills, and a keen eye for detail, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver outstanding results under tight deadlines.

• Demonstrated success in senior sales roles within the civils or infrastructure sectors, delivering measurable results on major projects.

• In-depth technical knowledge of civil engineering principles, drainage systems, and water management solutions.

• Strong relationship-building capabilities to engage and maintain partnerships with clients, specifiers, and contractors.

• A data-driven mindset with a commitment to exceeding performance standards and achieving measurable outcomes.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Comprehensive understanding of the construction and infrastructure industry, including key regulations, standards, and best practices.

• Established relationships with Tier 1 contractors and strategic merchant partners, giving you a head start in this role.

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline, enhancing your technical credibility.
