We are seeking candidates for a Maintenance Technician role on the night shift. Compensation for this direct hire opportunity starts at $31.50 per hour! Interested? Read below for more information!
What you’ll do as a Maintenance Technician:

• Respond swiftly and effectively to urgent production needs related to equipment issues
• Interpret diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and specifications to disassemble, repair, and install mechanical equipment
• Perform maintenance tasks, including replacing belts, sheaves, chains, sprockets, bearings, and other components, ensuring proper alignment and tension
• Use a CMMS system for tracking, executing, and documenting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks
• Diagnose and repair mechanical power transmission equipment, gearboxes, drives, and motors
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including cylinders, valves, vacuum systems, and air filtration devices
• Safely use a variety of tools, including mechanical, hand, power, and precision measurement instruments
• Perform pipe fitting, insulating, and rigging tasks, including measuring, cutting, and joining various piping materials
• Adhere to strict safety policies and procedures and maintain quality standards by following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety protocols

What you need to be a Maintenance Technician:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, plant operations, utilities, or related fields
• Basic electrical skills, such as using a multimeter, troubleshooting circuits, and testing fuses
• Understanding of heat exchangers and related systems as well as fasteners, thread types, and proper applications for repairs
