• Youngstown, OH
• $20-$30/hour based on experience
• 2 nd shift or 3 rd shift, with availability to work 6-7 days a week when needed
• Direct Hire opportunity

Duties/Responsibilities

• Work on heavy machinery and aluminum extrusion presses.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, pneumatic tools, hydraulic systems, 3-phase electricity, conveyor systems and other production machines.
• Follow diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications.
• Remove defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools.
• Controls downtime by performing routine preventative maintenance and monitoring compliance.
• Perform upgrades or preventative maintenance to electrical control systems.
• May retrofit equipment with controls needed to improve efficiency and performance.
• Plumbing, electrical, HVAC and welding.

Skills/Qualifications

• 3+ Years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Experienced with hydraulics, pneumatics, 480v 3-phase electrical, and PLC troubleshooting.
• CNC repair experience preferred.
• Associate degree or Certification in Electrical or Mechanical technology preferred.
• Control programming experience preferred
• Will be subject to pre-employment drug and background screening.
