We’re hiring a Maintenance Technician for our student accommodation, The Oldway Centre, located in the heart of Swansea’s vibrant city centre. In this full-time role, you’ll work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 4.30pm, as part of a close-knit team. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Handling minor reactive repairs and conducting planned maintenance tasks, including painting, decorating, groundskeeping, and refuse/recycling management.
• Performing health and safety checks.
• Handling minor electrical tasks such as installing white goods, conducting PAT tests, changing plugs and fuses, and maintaining emergency lighting systems.

As we work in our residents’ living spaces, you’ll need to be a good communicator who always demonstrates professionalism and can ensure discretion and diplomacy when needed, including maintaining confidentiality regards recording sensitive information.About You:
We’re looking for an outgoing person who has strong communication skills and is confident in their ability to undertake general maintenance works, both planned and reactive and can adapt to different situations whilst maintaining professionalism.Why Fresh?
