Tri-weekly rotation of days, evenings & nights.Business Unit: Almac SciencesOpen To: Internal and External ApplicantsRef No.: HRJOB9104/2The RoleA typical day for a Maintenance Engineer is far from typical. The role is dynamic and versatile in its daily tasks.The primary function of a Maintenance Engineer is to perform routine preventative maintenance schedules as per the PEMAC (Planned Engineering and Maintenance Control) system in a cGMP environment.The post holder will also be responsible general maintenance requests on equipment and facilities across the Almac Sciences Business Unit. Including carrying out calibration activities on process equipment. There may be the opportunity to travel from time to time based on business needs.This role would suit someone who is motivated, methodical, and exhibits excellent troubleshooting skills.What we are looking forWe are looking for someone with City & Guilds Level 3 in an Electrical related discipline (or equivalent) combined with post apprenticeship experience in a maintenance environment.Whilst not essential, it would be desirable for candidates to have· HND/HNC (or equivalent) in an electrical related discipline,· Previous maintenance experience within the food, chemical or pharmaceutical industry.· Experience of electronic preventative maintenance scheduling tools· Experience of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems (SCADA)· Experience of calibration completionApplicants must have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time employment in the UK.
