• The pay for this position is $20.40 per hour.
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.

Machinist Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
• The required availability for this position is Day shift 8 AM – 8 PM on a 4-3-3-4 schedule.

Machinist Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, optimize, changeover/troubleshoot, and maintain assigned departmental production equipment.
• Perform regular maintenance and inspections on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and prolong machinery lifespan.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules and strategies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
• Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.

Machinist Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2-5 years of experience in machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Technical certification or degree in mechanical or electrical maintenance is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical and Electrical Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and electrical systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and work near moving mechanical parts.
