Job description

Duties for this position will include, but not be limited to the following:Operate stud welder, ironworker, plate shear, crimper, channel cutters, angle cutters, or saws
Enter data into machine to set specs for cutting, crimping and punching
Adjust the machine to cut material to proper length
Cut angle/channel according to specifications found on cutting bills
Move materials to appropriate areas with crane or buggy
Perform operator scheduled maintenance on machinery
Practice good housekeeping, including 5S requirements, and time management in the performance of daily duties.
Comply with all legislated and company’s health, safety, environmental, quality and Lean policies, procedures and programs
Perform all other duties as assigned

Ability to operate an overhead crane
Computer literacy
Ability to read a tape measure and cutting bills
Work independently and willingness to move to day shift if needed for training or coverage of leaves
Physical ability to routinely lift up to 50 lb is required
