Day to Day DutiesYour day-to-day duties as a Machine Operative with our client will be:
- Setting up and running a Reeling Machine/Sheeting Machine, based on written instructions via works order sheets
- Identifying faults during set up and fixing of faults relative to the order
- Completing paperwork and inputting details accurately on the system
- Performing checks against instructions to ensure product quality and conformity
- Performing regular quality inspections and correcting quality issues as soon as they arise
- Ensuring available stocks of raw materials to maintain productivity
- Ensuring work area is clean and tidy at all times
- Reporting defective machine parts
Essential SkillsEssential skills needed to be a Machine Operative with our client are:
- Machine operating experience
- Good attention to detail
- Problem solving
- Requirement to meet KPIs
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- FLT / Crane operating experience
