Job Description:A need has arisen within the legal department in the company’s headquarters near Paris to recruit a M&A lawyer.Join our M&A Team (3 people), where you will report to and work under the direction of the Deputy General Counsel.You will have multiple interactions within Schneider Electric: you will work closely with the M&A execution team, as well as other cross-functional groups (sustainability team, consolidation, compliance, export control…).Your role:
- Management of M&A transactions, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating non-disclosure agreements, letters of intent, term sheets, purchase agreements, and related ancillary transaction documents,
- Managing and performing legal due diligence as well as managing post-closing matters and disputes.
You have:
- 8-10 years’ relevant experience in M&A transactions
- Ideally, a large law firm experience
- Strong drafting, negotiating and communications skills required, including the ability to spot key issues and to provide practical business-oriented advice
- Ability to work effectively both in teams and independently, manage multiple projects at once, make effective decisions and collaborate with internal and external resources
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and work under deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic and challenging environment
- International mindset and experience of working across borders
