Logistics Development ManagerAre you passionate about process improvement, data-driven decision-making, and leading high-performing teams? We are looking for a Logistics Development Manager who will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency across our extensive logistics network. Based at our Manufacturing site in Howden, East Yorkshire, this role reports directly to the Head of Strategic Projects & Development. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible impact on a growing business with an expanding footprint across the UK, Ireland, and France.What will you be doing as a Logistics and Development Manager:

• Optimising logistics performance by developing and monitoring key KPIs related to warehouse order fulfilment, On-Time In-Full (OTIF) performance, and operational efficiency.
• Establish mechanisms for collating, analysing, and interpreting process data to drive real-time decision-making.
• Conduct workflow analysis, identify inefficiencies, and implement innovative solutions to enhance logistics processes.
• Lead and implement initiatives that foster a culture of innovation and efficiency within the logistics function.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, pilot new methodologies, and implement emerging logistics technologies.
• Manage and develop a diverse team while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of process improvements.
• Ensure all initiatives align with regulatory standards and company policies while implementing robust change management processes.

What do you need to qualify for the Logistics and Development Manager:Experience & Knowledge:

• Proven experience in logistics process improvement, supply chain optimisation, or warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and process engineering principles
• Expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (Blue Yonder & SAP) and Labour Management Systems (WLM / SAP LM).
• Experience in data analysis, reporting tools, and database management.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience managing teams and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Meticulous attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to simplify complex information.
• Adaptability and a track record of driving change in a fast-paced environment.
