We are seeking a skilled and proactive Linux System Administrator to join our IT operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Linux-based infrastructure. We encourage professionals to build their profiles today to boost their chances of instant hiring across the world.Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.)Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planningManage user accounts, permissions, and access controlsMaintain system security by applying patches and updates regularlyImplement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutionsAutomate routine tasks using shell scripts or configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, etc.)Monitor system logs and respond to incidents or performance issuesCollaborate with development and network teams to support CI/CD pipelines and production environmentsMaintain documentation for systems, processes, and proceduresEnsure system uptime and reliability according to SLAsRequired Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)3+ years of experience in Linux administrationStrong knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scriptingExperience with web servers (Apache, NGINX), database servers (MySQL, PostgreSQL), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications:Linux certifications (e.g., RHCSA, RHCE, CompTIA Linux+)Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus)Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices
