The successful candidate will provide expert advice on lift installations, modernisation, maintenance, and compliance with UK regulations. You will work with a diverse range of clients, including commercial properties, residential buildings, healthcare facilities, and industrial sites, ensuring that lift systems are safe, efficient, and compliant.Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site surveys and assessments of Vertical Transport systems.
• Provide technical advice on lift design, modernisation, and maintenance strategies.
• Ensure compliance with UK safety standards, including BS EN 81, LOLER, and other relevant legislation.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and tender documents for lift projects.
• Assist clients in selecting appropriate lift contractors and suppliers.
• Oversee and manage lift installations, refurbishments, and maintenance contracts.
• Conduct performance audits and risk assessments to improve lift safety and efficiency.
• Provide and present technical support to key stake holders and none technically minded individuals with clear and transparent communication
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project success.
• Stay updated with industry developments, regulations, and technological advancements.

Requirements:

• Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred but not essential).
• Extensive experience in the lift industry, ideally in a consulting or technical advisory role.
• Strong knowledge of UK lift regulations and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant lift industry software.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
