• This position will respond to commercial and residential electrical calls.
• Lays out, assembles, installs, repairs, maintains, connects and/or tests electrical systems
• plans installations from blueprints, sketches and specifications, and installs all electrical and electronic devices
• Daily workload will also include service requests.
• Oversee and mentor Electrician Trainees/Apprentices.
• Responsible for completing in an effective and efficient manner all diagnostics and repair work to company standards and in keeping with our value proposition.
• Responsible and accountable for the delivery of superior customer service.
• Responsible for assuring all tools and equipment used are in good and safe working order.
• Responsible for keeping vehicle clean and neat both inside and out, in keeping with the company’s professional image.
• Responsible for keeping vehicle stocked with all material necessary to perform daily completion of electrical calls.
• All work performed will be completed in a safe, professional, and customer focused manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Licensed Electrician and eligible to work in the province.
• Supervisory or Leadership experience considered an asset.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude; able to operate all necessary tools and equipment.
• Must have strong communication skills in order to work with customers (both written and verbal).
• Must be able to work various shifts.
• Able to work with minimal supervision, results-oriented, and able to achieve high levels of individual and team performance.
• Demonstrated commitment to the delivery of customer-focused service.
• Remain up-to-date with electrical standards and practices.
• The successful incumbent must be able to meet the minimum requirements for our background check criteria, including a Driver’s Abstract review.
