Starting Salary: £22,015.00
Working Week: Our operations run 24/7. You’ll work 5 days a week out of 7 and shifts times will vary based on your rota but may start as early as 3am and end as late as 2am. Flexibility is required. Qualification: A 13-month programme earning a Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) driver apprentice qualification, a C&E Licence, and a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC)Kickstart your career by joining Royal Mail’s team of skilled professional drivers. We operate the largest and most recognisable Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) fleet in the UK, and we’re proud to have such a strong, safe, and skilled team of drivers on the road.On the programme, you’ll benefit from on-the-job driving experience and complete a range of masterclasses designed to teach you everything you need to know about the role.About you:

• 21 years of age or over with a full UK driving licence (with less than 6 penalty points)
• Passion for driving and working independently
• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
• Good customer service and communication skills
• You have GCSEs at Grade C / 4 or above in Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications), or you’re happy to complete Functional Skills qualifications alongside your apprenticeship.
• You’ll need to pass an eye test and a DBS check to train as an LGV Driver.
